Mevrik can tell you when something needs your attention, such as a new conversation, an AI agent waiting for approval, or a channel that lost its connection. You choose what you get, and whether it comes by email or push.
Time: about 3 minutes
Before you start
- Owners, Admins, Supervisors and Viewers can open Settings → Notifications. The Agent role can't.
- Viewers can see the settings but not change them.
Choose what you're notified about
- Go to Settings → Notifications.
- Find the event you care about. Events are grouped under Conversations & agents, Channels & integrations and Billing & reports.
- Use the Email and Push switches to turn each one on or off.
Your changes save as soon as you flip a switch. There is no Save button. If one doesn't save, you'll see "Couldn't save that — please try again."
Events that have never been changed start with both Email and Push on. These preferences are yours. They don't change what your teammates receive.
Events you can choose
| Event | When you're notified |
|---|---|
| New conversation | When a new conversation is assigned to you. |
| Conversation escalation | When an agent escalates a conversation. |
| Agent needs approval | When your AI agent requests an approval action. |
| Knowledge gap detected | When your agent fails to answer a question. |
| Weekly performance report | A weekly digest of deflection rate and top intents. |
| Billing reminders | Upcoming renewals, invoice receipts and plan changes. |
| Channel disconnected | A connected channel lost its connection. |
| Channel reconnected | A previously disconnected channel is back online. |
| Integration failure | A webhook, token or sync failure on a connected integration. |
The list in the console comes from your workspace's notification rules, so you may see events that aren't in this table, or not see some that are.
Emergency notifications
Some alerts are critical. The console says they are "always sent, on every channel, and cannot be turned off". They show an Always on badge instead of switches.
Add an extra on-call recipient
If you also want someone outside your team to get these emergency alerts, add a recipient.
- Under Emergency notifications, turn on Extra on-call recipient.
- Choose Email or Phone.
- Type the address or number and press Enter or click away. It saves on its own.
If the value isn't valid, you'll see "Enter a valid email address." or "Enter a valid phone number, e.g. +44 7700 900123."
To remove the recipient, turn Extra on-call recipient off. If that fails, you'll see "Couldn't remove the on-call recipient — please try again."
Only an Owner, Admin or Supervisor can change the on-call recipient.
Troubleshooting
"Couldn't load notification settings." Try again Click Try again. If it keeps failing, refresh the page.
"Couldn't save the on-call recipient — please try again." Check the email or phone number and try once more.
