On this page

Invite the people who will reply to customers, supervise your AI agent or just keep an eye on how it's doing. Each person gets an email with a link to join your workspace.

Time: about 2 minutes

Before you start

  • You need the Owner or Admin role. Other roles see the Invite member button turned off.
  • Decide which role each person needs. You can invite people as Admin, Supervisor, Agent or Viewer. Agent is selected by default. You can't invite someone as Owner. To hand over ownership, the Owner uses Settings → Security & control → Transfer ownership.
RoleIn short
AdminCan do almost everything an Owner can, including settings, channels, billing and the team. Can't transfer ownership or delete the workspace.
SupervisorWorks in conversations and customers, and can approve AI agent actions. Can't change channels, the team or workspace settings, and can't open billing.
AgentReplies to customers in Conversations and works on Tasks.
ViewerCan see most pages but can't change anything.

Send invitations

  1. In Mevrik, go to Settings → Team & access.
  2. Click Invite member. The Invite a team member panel opens.
  3. Under Email address, enter your teammate's work email, for example colleague@company.com.
  4. Under Role, choose a role.
  5. To invite more people, click Add another, or paste a list of addresses into the box. Commas, semicolons and line breaks all work. New rows use the same role as the row you pasted into.
  6. Click Send invite. If you added several people, the button says how many, for example Send 3 invites.

You'll see "Invite sent", or a count such as "3 invites sent". Invite links expire after 7 days.

You can also invite a teammate from the setup to-dos on Mission Control (Invite your team).

What your teammate does

Your teammate opens the invitation email, clicks the link and sees Join followed by your workspace name, with who invited them and the role they were given. They then:

  1. Enter Your name (a full name).
  2. Choose a password under Create a password, at least 8 characters.
  3. Click Join workspace.

They land in Conversations if they're an Agent, and in Mission Control for every other role.

Check, resend or revoke invitations

People who haven't joined yet appear under Pending invitations on the same page, with when each invitation expires.

  • Resend sends the email again and extends the expiry. Use it if the invitation has expired. The row says "Expired — resend to issue a fresh link".
  • Revoke cancels the invitation. The link stops working.

When someone joins, they move to the members list above. To change a role or remove someone later, go back to Settings → Team & access.

Troubleshooting

"[email] is not a valid email address." Check the address for typos. Each address needs an @ and a domain, like name@company.com.

"Add at least one email address." You clicked Send invite with the email box empty. Enter an address first.

"2 invites failed. Check the email addresses and retry." Some invitations didn't send. The panel stays open so you can try again. Check the Pending invitations list to see which ones went out, then enter the missing addresses again and click Send invite.

"You don't have permission to invite members." Only an Owner or Admin can invite people. Ask one of them to invite your teammate.

Your teammate may see one of these when they open the link:

"This invitation has expired. Ask your workspace admin to resend it." Resend the invitation from Pending invitations.

"This invitation link is invalid or has already been used." The invitation was revoked, or they already joined. Check the members list. If you revoked it by mistake, send a new invitation.

"An account with this email already exists. Sign in instead." They already have a Mevrik account with that email, so they should sign in instead of creating a new password.
